Property Brothers’ Started With an Infomercial

Nothing can compare to the magic of a great pair.

A duo has taken the world and the country by storm in the past few years. The duo has a show called “Property Brothers” on HGTV. We are talking about twin brothers Drew Scott and Jonathan Scott. This show premiered in 2011 and is a hit with viewers.

The Scott brothers’ realisation of their love for real property was, Bob Ross would say “a happy accident.” It has exploded into the success it is today. It’s what is it today. It is one of the most popular shows on TV.

According to the website for the show, “The Property Brothers” are determined to help couples buy, transform, and purchase extreme fixer-uppers into their dream homes. Since it can be difficult to see past the shortcomings of a property, they use state-of the-art CGI technology to present their vision of the future. These hesitant home buyers will they be persuaded to take a risk? Can they finish their ambitious project on-time and within budget?

Drew is the experienced real estate agent on the show. Drew is the real estate agent who finds the down-and out fixer-uppers with the potential to make it big. Looking to sell your house fast for cash? We beat the other guys’ offers get a quote.

Jonathan is a licensed contractor and has more than 15 years of experience.

Both are licensed real-estate agents. It makes sense that they have been managing real estate holdings for almost 15 years. Scott Real Estate was founded in 2004 to oversee the construction and sales of residential and commercial properties. According to Wikipedia, they have offices located in Vancouver, Calgary and Las Vegas. Since they are Canadian, they have offices in two Canadian cities.

The idea for the show that we see today was actually created by the two brothers when they were teens. Forbes reports that the brothers saw an infomercial and decided to create it.

Jonathan explained to Forbes that Drew and I were just graduating high school. We didn’t want our lives to be filled with starving actors, so we saw an infomercial about how you can make millions of dollars without any money down from Carlton Sheets.

Drew and Jonathan purchased their first home at the age of 18. They sold the house for $50,000 after renovations. However, that was not enough to get them into real property. They learned two valuable lessons that they will continue to use in the future.

Their first attempt at acting was in the 1980s. According to Wikipedia, they appeared together on the Canadian television show “Breaker High.” Drew was also on the “Smallville.” Jonathan was on the “X-Files.” Interesting fact about Jonathan: He’s an award-winning illusionist. Both tried their hand at improvisational comedy. The show’s viewers get this reference.

According to Wikipedia, they returned to school to study construction and design. They were approached by the television station to host the show as their business grew. The rest is history.

Today, Property Brothers airs around the globe. It airs in Canada on the W Network. It is called “My Dream Home” by Lifestyle Home in Australia. ChoiceTV is available in New Zealand. It is also available in Brazil and Spain.

It’s not only the U.S. or Canada that can’t get enough 6-foot-5 twin brothers.

There’s no stopping.

They’ve taken the lessons from their first home they bought as teens and turned them into three HGTV shows. We thought we were being facetious when we said that they were like a drug people cannot get enough of. There are “Property Brothers”, “Buying & selling” and “Brother vs. Brother.”

Their popularity will soon be seen on the big screen in a feature-length film. No word yet on a release date.

Forbes reported Jonathan that he believes you should go to sleep even if you’re dead.

The Scott brothers are proof that great duos are loved by people.

One of the most popular TV shows, “Property Brothers”, is a huge hit. These are two great men you would want to do business.

They could match Martin or Lewis at this rate. They may even surpass them.
